Crossroads with a Polaroid Spectra

Pedro Rebelo Crossroads with a Polaroid Spectra

There are times in our lives, when we tend to see everything as crossroads, as a choice. And every choice is a kind of a struggle, a traumatic moment, the abandon of something, a compromise even if just for a moment.

Many of those times, the moment, the most ephemeral of the actions taken, end up as something crucial, as a everlasting quest, one that we don’t always remember but, deep inside we know that one day it will bite us, punch us on the face…

When everything is a crossroad, life is harder but those who accept it, those that refuse to blame fate, the unpredictability of life as a reason for all the black eyes, those will endure it and in the end, they’ll look back and remember what Friedrich Nietzsche wrote on Twilight of the Idols: “Out of life’s school of war: What does not destroy me, makes me stronger”

I took this photo on a sunny and very hot afternoon with a Polaroid Spectra SE using using The Impossible Project Color Film For Image / Spectra.
